Upon arrival at the Havana Airport, we will meet you and spirit you away into Havana to begin our adventure.
Welcome to Havana! Upon arrival in the heart of this captivating city, we’ll be welcomed with a private check-in at the magnificent Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski.
Make yourself at home in your luxurious and comfortable room before meeting and mingling with your fellow Divine travel tribe on the spectacular rooftop terrace of the hotel – sunset cocktails it is!
All together…Tonight, we’re off to experience a very unique and intimate dinner at Lorena Faccio’s rooftop terrace! Indulge in mojitos, agua frescas, daiquiris, and canapes before digging into an authentic family-style dinner. Enjoy the sounds of a local duo…now we’re really feeling the vibe!
FRIDAY, APRIL 5
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel.
Driver please… your vintage convertible waits for you to explore with your own guide and driver. See the neighbourhoods of Centro Habana and Vedado…drive by the famous Malecon (boardwalk) and El Morro Fort, and visit the oasis of Almendares Park and all the sites of the city in style!
More to explore…Enjoy some pool time early afternoon or explore on your own before we meet up again for our exclusive and stimulating walking tour of Old Havana brimming with sights, colour, and musica! A fabulous afternoon as we make a stop at the Ambos Mundo Hotel where Hemingway stayed for a late afternoon drink on the rooftop Terrace.
All that Jazz…Tonight’s dinner is at one of the city’s best restaurants and Jazz Club, Grados. Be prepared for amazing cuisine and music that will touch your soul and move your groove!
SATURDAY, APRIL 6
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel.
Step inside…today, we’ll be immersed in the Cuban way of life as we meet locals who will share their stories, their neighbourhood shops, and perhaps an intro to the unique Afro-Cuban religion of Santería. You’ll feel blessed to hear of life here and the hardships that still exist for many.
Lunch on the farm…with entrepreneurship blossoming in Cuba, meet a family who has been bold enough to start a sustainable and successful organic farm specializing in artisanal flour and baked goods. A delicious home cooked lunch makes this visit complete!
Afternoon fun…back to the pool for some sun or more exploring for others! There is still much to see and do!
Cigars and Rum…Meet one of Havana’s top female sommeliers who will lead us through the history and tastes of iconic Cuban cigars and rum!
Cuba Si…Our farewell dinner is fantastic! Yarini Habana specializes in contemporary Cuban and international flavours and offers a cool rooftop atmosphere in the trendy San Isidro neighbourhood. By now, we’re in love with the sights and sounds of this hip & trendy city! Let’s celebrate.

And all too soon, we have to say goodbye after a weekend we won’t soon forget.
Our Divine adventure has opened our eyes and hearts to this city of cool and warmth…truly a study in contrasts.

WHAT REQUIREMENTS ARE THERE FOR CANADIAN AND AMERICANS TO TRAVEL TO CUBA?
Here's a simplified list of Cuban entry requirements:
- Valid Passport—valid for at least the duration of your trip.
- Valid Cuban Tourist Card/Visa - This is easy to obtain for both Canadian & US Citizens and is either included in the cost of your flight or can be purchased at some US airports (i.e. Miami Airport). Discuss this with your airline prior to booking your flights. Feel free to contact us should you have any questions regarding the Cuban Visa.
- Proof of Travel Medical Insurance. Confirm with your airline, but this is generally included in the price of your flights. Keep your boarding passes as this is your proof of insurance
- Complete the D'Viajeros Advance Information of Travelers Form. This can only be completed once you are within 48 hours from departure for Cuba. This is a simple form that asks some health questions as well as including the customs declaration form. You must fill this out before you leave home but not sooner than 48 hours prior to departure. Upon submission of the form, you receive a QR code and an email that you present to Immigration officers on your arrival in Cuba.
Canadians and Americans can travel with a regular U.S. or Canadian passport to Cuba. However, before traveling to Cuba, make sure that your passport is valid for another 6 months after your trip to Cuba.
Canadian and US citizens travelling to Cuba need a visa, known as a tourist card. The tourist card allows you to stay in Cuba for up to 90 days. The tourist card is generally included in holiday packages provided by tour operators or airlines providing direct flights from Canada. US Citizens may also purchase the Cuban Visa/Tourist Card at some airports in the US (i.e., Miami Airport)
