How long has The Divine Destination Collection (TDDC) been in business?
Although we are a new company (2012), both Deb and Allison each have over 25 years’ experience in the corporate world of incentive travel. Designing, managing and running multi-million dollar programs for some of the largest and most discerning multi-national corporations. They take their know how, professionalism and attention to detail and bring it to you with a fun-loving and down to earth spirit.
How does the single supplement work?
A number of our guests do travel on their own and as our hotel pricing is based on double occupancy (2 people per room) we must charge a “single supplement” to anyone who would like their own room for the duration of the trip.
What caliber of accommodation & services are provided?
Our tag line says it all…Unique Travel Experiences, where luxury, adventure and spirituality meet. After spending many years in the high-end world of corporate incentives, we have wonderful 5 star hotel and destination management partners around the world who reflect our commitment to style, luxury and comfort.
How do I register for a trip
We have a great online registration system that will prompt you for all your pertinent information (such as contact information, flight & passport information, accommodation requirements, dietary restrictions, allergies, physical restrictions, emergency contact, etc.) as well as payment procedures. Should I purchase travel insurance?
The price of the trip does not include travel insurance. We strongly advise that you purchase travel insurance to ensure against any unforeseen circumstances that may arise during or prior to your trip (i.e. medical emergencies, trip cancellation, lost luggage).
Our Luxury Experience Concierge will be happy to assist with any of your travel insurance needs.
Are the trips guided and what languages are spoken?
Each trip offers a balance of structured (guided) elements along with leisure time. English is the predominant language on all trips, however, both French and Spanish guides are also available.
What about travel document/passport requirements?
Please note that passport & visa requirements may vary depending on the destination and the nationality of the traveler. We will provide, to the best of our ability, the most accurate information, however, ultimately it remains the responsibility of each traveler to ensure they have the appropriate travel documents based on their nationality and travel destination. Costs for Passports and Visas are not included in the cost of the trip and are the responsibility of each individual. TDDC is not liable or responsible for any costs that arise from inaccurate, incomplete or missing travel documents that would prohibit travelers from entering a country as part of a scheduled trip.
What if I have food or other allergies?
On the TDDC registration page we will ask you if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions and then ask you to stipulate what they are. We will then liaise with the chefs involved in our programs to ensure special meals and special arrangements are made to help you avoid these foods or conditions. Ultimate responsibility however does rest with the individual to ensure they make themselves known on site and take all necessary precautions to avoid consumption of said foods or exposure to any other allergens.
