Few people know about the wonders of Churchill, Manitoba, and even fewer have had the pleasure of visiting. But those who have made the journey have experienced a world virtually untouched by human hands.
With 60,000 Beluga Whales filling the Hudson Bay and Polar Bears leaving the melting sea ice, summer is a fantastic time to visit Churchill. You come for the Polar Bears but fall in love with the Belugas, which is amazing, as summertime offers a more expansive experience, and polar bear sightings can be more remote. During the summer, the polar bears could be swimming in Hudson Bay alongside our boat or be farther inland, visible from a distance.
