Our nine-day adventure kicks off on June 1, 2018 when we all meet at the Denpasar International Airport and then transfer privately to the luxurious Four Seasons Resort at Jimbaran Bay. This legendary hideaway was listed among Asia’s Top 40 Resorts in the Conde Nast Traveller Readers’ Awards 2016 and a Five-Star Rating in the Forbes Travel Guide 2017. Here we will slip into the pure luxury and serenity of the resort and your glorious Jimbaran Bay One-Bedroom Pool Villa. A casual cocktail reception will be held at the Waterfall Pool area… it’s a picture-perfect place to mix and mingle with your fellow travellers before heading off to bed.
While we do have a few group activities planned, such as a private Cooking Interaction at the Jimbaran Bay Cooking Academy and a private Laughing Yoga session, our private concierge is available to help plan additional activities for you in your free time. There is so much to see and do even within the beautiful Four Seasons Resort at Jimbaran Bay or simply take in the serenity of your surroundings.
One of the highlights of this adventure will be a trip to a local orphanage where we will connect and interact with the children and leave them with much needed supplies. After connecting with the kids, we head off to Batukaru Temple, one of nine directional temples meant to protect Bali from evil spirits. The 11th century Batukaru Temple shares the cool and quiet upland vicinity of the Wongaya Gede farming community.
From Batukaru Temple we take a scenic journey through serene bamboo forests to the breathtaking terraced rice fields of Jatiluwih. After a casual lunch overlooking the beautiful rice terraces, we return to the hotel to relax, soak up the scenery or take a well-deserved nap. This evening it’s off on a private exclusive 2-hour sunset cocktail cruise aboard a luxurious 50’ Catamaran.
After four nights at Jimbaran Bay we will head to our next destination, The Four Seasons Resort at Sayan; recognized among the World’s Top 100 Hotels in Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards 2017 and a Five-Star Rating in the Forbes Travel Guide 2017. Located in the heart of the island’s central highlands, minutes from the artistic capital of Ubud, this spectacular resort is truly a lush hidden paradise along the magnificent Ayung River.
Guests will be treated to an amazing adventure of fun and excitement rafting down the Ayung River a delightful river experience flanked by unspoiled rainforest, towering gorges and lovely rice paddy terraces.
