Luxury: PACK YOUR BAGS FOR COMFORT AND STYLE
Our friend, Helene Clarkson, is a Toronto fashion designer who specializes in beautiful travel clothes so you’re always in unmatched style and comfort no matter where you are travelling! We asked Helene to share her ideas about what to pack for our upcoming journey to The Galapagos.
What are your “must haves”?
When preparing for a trip spanning two distinct climates, versatility is key. The goal? Pack light while ensuring every piece works double duty.

What accessories would you recommend?
When it comes to accessories, my mantra is “cheap and cheerful.” Opt for items you won’t mind losing but still elevate your outfits:
- A convertible necklace (Lofttan's designs are a favourite).
- Statement earrings for evenings and simple studs for the day.
- A lightweight scarf (I love Lolili Wear for added flair or extra warmth).
Any great tips for the best way to pack?
- Roll, don’t fold: Save space and minimize wrinkles.
- Fill the gaps: Pack 2 pairs of shoes in the bottom of your carry-on and tuck your smalls into all the gaps to maximize space.
- Consider compression packing cubes: Ideal for organization, especially in larger suitcases.

Spirituality: HEAL THROUGH A TRADITIONAL LIMPIA CLEANSING
During our Galápagos adventure, we’ve curated an unique Divine moment of spiritual magic in Quito that will be both entrancing and truly unforgettable.
A traditional indigenous cleansing in Ecuador, a limpia is a powerful experience that is said to remove negative energies and restore balance in one’s life. Through a special Divine connection with a local curandero (healer), our group will be led through a spiritual practice to purify the body, mind, and spirit. This powerful experience includes rich chants and prayers during spiritual blessings with local herbs, sacred waters and floral essences.
The limpia is just one of the many special and sacred encounters that we seek to uncover in all of our adventures.
